Tokens are the usage credits the app spends when it runs an analysis or writes content. Your free daily tokens do not accumulate. Each day starts fresh at 10,000, and any unused free tokens from the day before expire. Tokens you purchase are separate and do not expire, as shown below.

So 10,000 free tokens a day covers roughly 10 searches daily, plenty for regular use. Heavier, multi-step analyses use more, which is where optional top-ups help.
Go deeper only when you want to
If you want to run more or go deeper, you can buy additional tokens. Purchases are one-time, never a subscription, and billed through your Shopify invoice or, on the web, through Stripe. You can buy any amount, from as little as $1. One dollar buys 10,000 tokens. Purchased tokens do not expire; unlike the free daily grant, they stay in your account until you use them.

The base rate is $100 per 1,000,000 tokens, which is $0.0001 per token. Volume discounts apply automatically, and the whole purchase gets the single best rate it qualifies for. A $100 purchase is billed entirely at the $80 rate, not split across tiers. Top-ups are never required. The app is fully usable on the free daily tokens, and nothing is ever charged unless you choose to buy tokens.
